When your floor has become deeply scratched or marred or even a need to change the existing color, we can accomplish this by refinishing hardwood floors. Depending on the particular project, we can refinish your floors in and up to one – four days. We use only the highest grade of materials stemming from environmentally safe water borne finishes, low voc solvent based finishes and eco-friendly green LEED Certified Products. See how to estimate the costs.
In addition to making preparations to prevent dust travel into any adjoining areas, we also use a dust containment system.
We are experienced in working with construction companies who specialize in insurance claims or directly with insurance adjustors. Most floor damages are caused by water, fire, and many other uncontrollable occurrences. We work with construction recovery companies, insurance agents, as well as the homeowners to accommodate them to restore their floors.
We work with both the agent and homeowner to help either bringing the floors up to a more sellable state, or customizing the floors after the sale to satisfy a new homeowner. This can be accomplished one of two ways:
Restore: Floors may be buffed, recoated or chemical bonding/recoating to bring back the luster of the finish
Refinish: If the above process is not an option, refinishing the floor will eliminate scratches, heavy worn patterns and damaged areas. The newly finished floor will not only update and adapt better to a possible new décor, but also add more value to your home.
We service residential, commercial, historical, new construction/renovations, and LEED Certified projects. We encourage time spent with both the architect and homeowner to evaluate all concerns.
We work with many Historical Societies and in many Historical districts restoring floors back to their naturally intended beauty. Most Historical projects require a seasoned floor professional who has a proven record of accomplishments in this area. We can provide this service.
We work in many aspects with designers to help them accomplish what they need to satisfy their client. Much time can be spent on deciding which type of wood species and size, and most important the color selection of the wood. We can work solely with the designer or with both the designer and the homeowner.
We work with many builders who have extreme deadlines that must be kept. Not only is quality on top of our list but communication and punctuality must be there as well. We are able to keep open communication between everyone involved in the building process from the General Contractor, designer, architect, homeowner and any sub-contractors needed. We feel this open communication will assure a clean and neat transition in completing the flooring project.
Most commercial projects are time sensitive where off-hour operations are required. Given enough notice we can accomplish these tight operational time restrictions utilizing dust containment and low odor finishing techniques.
